Ibn Ali Miller was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey.  He is 27 years old and is married with seven children. He is an independent contractor who is establishing an import/export business. When he is finished with his studies, he plans to open an Islamic institute in his hometown to help inner city youth learn traditional Islam.

Rania Lawendy is a first generation Canadian Muslim married with four children. She is one of the founders of the Kitchener Masjid, Islamic Centre of Waterloo, Masjid Aisha, and Al-Huda Weekend School. She is also the founder of MAC Maple Grove School in Kitchener and currently serves as its principal. She is a community and Muslim rights activist who is also the first Muslim female chaplain in Canada at the University of Waterloo. Rania obtained a BSc. with a minor in French and management and also obtained her Masters in Educational Leadership while completing her principal qualifications.

Megan Wyatt is an inspirational speaker, trainer, coach, author, and entrepreneur who is passionate about helping others find and experience love, purpose, & personal development. She is multi-passionate woman who has founded Wives of Jannah, an organization that offers relationship coaching for wives and couples as well as training programs and events. She also co-authored and published a book with her eldest daughter Aisha called How to Get Hijab Ready: A Guide for Muslim Girls Ages 8-11. She is a co-founder for Find Your Mr. Right, where she has taught Muslim women how to go through the marriage process and find the right man without compromising on their values as Muslim women. Megan Wyatt, who converted to Islam at the age of 19, is a wife and a homeschooling mother with four children residing in Southern California.

Ustad Majed completed a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor and a Master’s in Business Administration from Wayne State University. During this period, he finished his memorization of the Quran. He also completed a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies from AlMaghrib Institute. He has traveled around the world lecturing about different aspects of Islam. In his pursuit for Islamic studies, he completed a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Jurisprudence & Legal Theory from Al-Madinah International University. Ustad Majed currently works as a mechanical engineer and teaches at AlMaghrib Institute. He currently lives in North America with his wife and three children.

Amanallah Abbas memorized the Holy Qur’an in 2009 under the stewardship of Sheikh Fayaz Tilly in the Tahfeez Ul-Qur’an Program in Calgary. He is the founder of Camp Ahmed Abbas Abbas, an organization that aims to strengthen and empower the youth; the leaders of tomorrow. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Calgary, and has successfully completed his Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.

Rulla Abbas is an Alberta Health Services Registered Midwife and Community Health Worker, at Mosaic PCN Calgary’s Refugee Clinic. She is also a health educator, to both patients and medical professionals, and a public health advocate. She believes strongly in the idea that diet and nutrition are at the root of one’s health. When she’s not at work, Rulla is busy with her extra-curricular activities, which include, being the Co-Founder of Camp Abbas Abbas, a Tim Horton’s sponsored youth camp for the Muslim community of Calgary.
